Brief

I was given 13 different briefs to choose from and I have decided that I am going to do number 1: A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, together with two of the following:

• a website homepage for the band
• a cover for its release as part of a digipak
• a magazine advertisement for the digipak

I feel this the best option for me as I've always been interested in the music industry. Also, within a song the story has already been created, yet I can adapt this to make the song my own.

As I did moving image for my As coursework I have learned to use the resources to create the final product of a music video. However, I have not yet worked on print but the two shorter tasks I pick will give me the opportunity to develop my skills in the media area;

• a cover for its release
• a magazine advertisement

I cannot wait to start this project....
